Un paziente di 72 anni con mascelle completamente edentule, grande atrofia ossea della mascella superiore e inferiore e malattia concomitante – diabete. Il suo piano di trattamento include: Posizionamento di 8 impianti dentali bicorticali immediati nella mascella inferiore e protesi su di essi, attraverso costruzioni metallo-ceramiche. Manipolazione completamente indolore. In questa fase del trattamento il paziente ha scelto di protesizzare solo la mascella inferiore, per quella superiore è stata realizzata una protesi a placche rimovibile temporaneamente.
