The standard treatment with immediate dental implants, for a completely toothless jaw, takes 3 working days.
In the case of extraction of multiple teeth, at the discretion of the treating physician, temporary teeth may be fabricated for a period of 3 to 6 months. This is recommended to avoid the effect of the natural process of gum shrinking. After this period, permanent teeth constructions will be fabricated and permanently cemented.
In the typical case, one or two visits would be required to finalise the treatment.
No. During the procedure we use local anesthesia and the patient does not feel any pain, and after the interventions are completed the doctor will prescribe the necessary painkillers to minimise the discomfort.
